Zeya was born in Yangon, Myanmar on December 20th, 2020 weighing 8lbs 3oz. I'm from the US and my husband is from Myanmar, where we were living at the time. He was absolutely perfect, the most beautiful baby boy I had ever laid eyes on. He was our first born and brought our family so much happiness. No feeling will ever be able to compare to how I felt having Zeya in my arms. He gave me purpose, and that was to be his mother. Zeya brought me more love and joy than I could have ever wished for. I didn't know it was possible to love someone so much until I had him, and I am so proud to be his mom.
Though his time with us wasn’t enough, his impact was deep and unforgettable. Zeya reminded us of the beauty in life and that love for him continues to guide us through difficult times. He would have been turning five this year. This toy drive began as a way to honor him but has become much more. It is a celebration of Zeya and the love he continues to give. Each toy donated represents a piece of his joy shared with another child. Each smile created keeps his spirit alive.
Thank you to anyone who has made a donation or shared this page in honor of Zeya. I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know.
Love,
Zeya's Mom
On January 31st, 2021 our world flipped upside down when Zeya passed away in his sleep at six weeks old. Losing a baby is the hardest thing anyone could ever go through. Every day is incredibly challenging, and despite all the pain, I find a way to push through and honor Zeya. He was such a blessing in our life. We will cherish the moments we spent with him forever. He will always be our perfect baby boy.

His light continues to shine — in our hearts, in this community, and in every child touched by this toy drive. It is a reminder that love never disappears; it simply transforms into something greater. Each act of giving becomes a reflection of the warmth he left behind. With every toy shared and every life uplifted, his presence continues to guide us. And through this mission, his beautiful light will keep illuminating the world, one act of kindness at a time.
His legacy reminds us that even in loss, there can be purpose, connection, and hope. And as this mission grows, so does the circle of love he began—reaching hearts far beyond what anyone could have imagined.
